New York Workshop
The “Fishing New York North Country” workshop offers participants an in-depth exploration of techniques and tactics specifically tailored for the iconic Ausable River and its surrounding areas in the New York North Country region. This workshop is designed for advanced beginner and intermediate anglers.
To get the most out of the workshop, we suggestions that participants have a foundational knowledge of fly fishing as we will not cover the basics. Before the workshop, attendees will have access to the pre-recorded online class “Intro to Fly Fishing” and “Reading Trout Water”, to prepare for the hands-on session.

Payment and Refunds
Payment in full is due at the time of registration. All payments have a seven-day cancellation policy, from the date of registration, for a full refund minus a small Eventbrite processing fee. After seven days, all payments are forfeited, unless a replacement participant is found.

Travel
Wilmington, New York, is a small town situated in the Adirondack Mountains, approximately 12 miles north of Lake Placid and near Whiteface Mountain. The nearest airports are Burlington (BTV), approximately 2 hours away; Albany (ALB), about 2 hours and 30 minutes away; Montréal (YUL), around 2 hours away; and JFK, which is about 5 hours from New York City.
