Fishing the Deschutes River Workshop
The “Fishing the Deschutes River” workshop provides participants with a deep dive into techniques and tactics tailored for this iconic river. This workshop is geared towards the advanced beginner and intermediate angler. Participants must have a foundational knowledge of fly fishing as we will not be covering the basics. Prior fly casting experience is advised, given the specialized casting drills focused on the Deschutes River. Before the workshop, attendees will have access to the pre-recorded online class ‘Reading Trout Water’, to prepare for the hands-on session. Bring your own 5wt or 6wt rod and matching reel to practice with or let us know if you need to borrow equipment.
